Join the Greenbush Historical Society in welcoming Jack McEneny as our speaker on "The Irish in the Capital District." Jack may be well known as a county then state assemblyman, but at heart, he is also a teacher and historian. He was recently appointed to be Albany's official Historian. Jack will discuss Irish immigration, including the reasons Irish people came to the United States and their varied experiences upon arrival. The Greenbush Historical meetings are free and all are welcome. Due to limited seating however, please register with the East Greenbush Library at 518-477-7476.
