Description

Learn why studying the weather right in your own backyard can help to make you a better gardener. We will discuss impactful weather events of the last year from a local perspective and touch on how these events reflect what we observe about Earth's changing climate. Finally, we will discuss how to begin taking backyard weather observations, starting from the most simple methods and increasing in complexity.  This program is presented by Alicia Wasula, President, STM Weather.

The program begins at 6:00, the Garden Club meeting to follow and all are welcome to attend.
