For The Love of Hostas, presented by Dave Jennings and sponsored by the Greenbush Garden Club.

Dave comes to you with a great deal of both personal experience and knowledge regarding the genus Hosta. He has been growing varieties for well over 50 years now, but it's only been the last three decades that he too has become an avid HOSTAholic and addicted to this wonderful friendship plant. The Hosta Cottage at Woodfield Estates, the private home and gardens of Dave and his wife, contains over 300 new and unique varieties of Hosta. Dave will share his knowledge of these fascinating shade tolerant perennials in his power point presentation. He encourages the audience to bring their questions.

Dave is a trained professional Horticulturist with degrees from both SUNY Cobleskill and Cornell University.  He conducted Gardening shows for Capital News 9, WNYT  & WRGB Television as one of their Gardening Experts as well as live gardening talk shows for WGY & WQBK Radio.
 

The program begins at 6 pm, Garden Club meets at 7:10 pm.
