Description

Join us for Sun Style Tai Chi! The benefits of Tai Chi can include improved balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Wear flat-soled shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. This class is open to all adults. 

This class is suitable for all and can be done standing or seated if needed. If there is a move that hurts or is in some way prohibitive, moves adapted for accessibility will be demonstrated. Participants are never asked to go beyond their comfort zone. For health related questions about this activity, please consult your personal physician. 

Tracey Carroll is a motivated Tai Chi Instructor with 7 years of study and practice. She has training in Yang, Chen and Sun family styles with additional experience in Mulan Fan and Qigong. A board certified instructor for the Tai Chi for Health Institute in: Tai Chi for Arthritis 1 and 2, Tai Chi for Arthritis with Falls Prevention module, Seated Tai Chi, Tai Chi for Rehabilitation, Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Memory, Tai Chi for Energy and Qigong for Health, Tracey enjoys bringing the health benefits of Tai Chi to a more mature audience who might not otherwise have the chance to experience an introduction to Tai Chi.

This class is presented as a series of 12 weekly classes. It is not necessary to attend each and every class. Please register to attend each class individually.
