Part 1: Concepts & Structure, Thursday, March 5

Many organizations survive in part on grants from government and private organizations. But locating potential funders and creating an effective application in a highly competitive process requires an understanding of specialized resources, terminology, and expectations. Staff of the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region, Inc., will explain the grants process from initial proposal through program updates to final report.

Part 2: Discussion and Draft Review, Thursday, March 12

Discover how a potential funder may review a proposal, and learn tips to shape your own work. Staff of the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region, Inc., will lead discussion of sample proposals and participants’ draft materials.
