Artist and author Michael Albert will offer a pop art workshop at the library. Beginning with an artist presentation, the event continues with a hands-on collage workshop and ends with a free poster giveaway and signing for all!
Michael Albert is nationally known for making art from cereal boxes and other printed cardboard consumer brand packages. Albert is the author of “An Artist's America” (Henry Holt, 2008), a picture book retrospective of his art collection.
Registration is required and begins on Monday, June 17 at 9am.
Please note: This event will run twice. The 2:00pm session will be geared toward children and families, and 6:00pm will be for teens and adults.
