Creating Art Through Words & Images

In this hands-on workshop, we will discuss the practical matter of creating a conceptual art form. Then we will be create our own stories by using combinations of images and phrases.

Please bring in photos, tickets, advertisements, stamps, letters, labels, etc…that can be used to form your statement and worked into your art. We will supply everything else that you will need.

Shumon Ahmed is an international media installation artist, photographer and poet whose work has been exhibited in various galleries, festivals and screenings worldwide, notably Vienna, Sydney, London, Dhaka, and New York City. Shumon lives in Albany with his family.
