Local Author and columnist for The Saratogian and the Troy Record, John Ostwald, will explore the emotional, moral, and spiritual wounds that often result from war and military service, as he explored in his recently published book: War, Sacrifice and Coming Home. This collection of articles, stories, and pictures is a reflection on and tribute to all veterans past, present, and future.

John is a Professor Emeritus (HVCC in Psychology), newspaper columnist, and Vietnam-era veteran of the US Navy (Inshore Undersea Warfare Group II). His work has been presented at national conferences and on radio and television. All proceeds for the sale of this book benefit Soldier's Heart.
