The Great Greenbush Quest

Join the Library and the Friends of the Library in a family fun clue hunt called the Great Greenbush Quest. During the month of October, solve riddles and pick up clues to help you find the hidden treasure.

Registration is required. Visit any service desk to sign up for this exciting event!  The Friends will be at the library to register participants and answer questions about the quest on October 7th from 10-2 p.m., October 8th from 1-3 p.m., and during the book sale which is happening October 13-15th.

Here are all the details:

Cost: FREE – This is a free event for all library patrons. In-person registration is required. Registration opens at 10 AM on October 7th. Visit any service desk to get started.

When: Starts 10 AM, Saturday, October 7, and runs through 12:00 Noon, Sunday, October 29. You can register anytime between these dates and search for clues until Sunday, the 29th at Noon.

Where: The Great Greenbush Quest begins at the library and clues are hidden throughout the towns of East Greenbush and Schodack/Castleton.

Prizes: All registrants will be entered into the prize drawings for a chance to win one of several gift certificates to local businesses. Prizes will be drawn at the closing Celebration Event at 2 PM, Sunday, October 29th; you do not need to be present to win. Participants will also receive a second raffle ticket and completion buttons when they complete the Quest and find the hidden treasure.
