Program Description

Description

The show, "I Am of Ireland: The work of An Honorary Irishman and Other Irish Artists," will consist of artwork by Bob Blackmon (the honorary Irishman) and some pieces by well-known artist colleagues in the Republic of Ireland. Bob Blackmon’s paintings are oil. The other artists' medium will include oils, watercolor, and pastels. All the art is of very high quality. Most of the works are originals; some are museum-quality prints.  Dr. Elizabeth Stack, Director of the Irish American Heritage Museum, will speak and read poetry from William Butler Yeats. This event is co-sponsored by the Irish American Heritage Museum and the Half Light art gallery in Ireland. The art exhibit will be on display the entire month of November.
