Program Description
Description
Pamphlets and newspapers are being distributed. People are singing songs of protest in some of the churches and at meetings and conventions. People are gathering in protest. A sense of moral outrage grips those who are in protest. The 1960’s civil rights movement? No, this is the Underground Railroad movement of the mid-19th century. What did it look like, what were its component parts, who was involved?
Join with Paul and Mary Liz Stewart, independent researchers and co-founders of Underground Railroad History Project in an investigation of this new interpretation of an old story.
Please register for this program. Registration begins January 27.
