If you know nothing about opera, this is a great introduction. From Fatal Attraction to the Toyota, explore opera in unexpected ways. In this opera talk we will discuss how opera is used in popular culture, specifically movies and commercials. We will see opera clips from featured movies including The Shawshank Redemption, Carmen Jones, Fatal Attraction, and then the actual opera clip from an opera production.
This is a "hybrid" program. Enjoy the presentation on the big screen in our meeting room or watch from home. We will send out the Zoom link before the event.
