For many of us, we remember our nation's Bicentennial in 1976: The Tall Ships and pageants!
Join Rensselear County and Troy City Historian, Kathy Sheehan for an illustrated lecture on how we commemorated this momentous occasion in the 19th and 20th centuries, from establishing battlefield parks, to that historical markers programs, and the creation of our many historical societies that were formed during the times we honored our birthday as a nation.
