Description

ICAN is the Ombudsman program for people who need Medicaid long-term care services in New York State. It is a network of community-based organizations that assist New Yorkers in enrolling in and obtaining long-term care services through managed care plans. ICAN has been in operation since 2014 and offers free and confidential services to the community. We are not connected with any health insurance plan and are funded through a grant made possible by the Department of Health. This is a presentation of the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York.
