Description

Create Your Own Book Log: Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to use Notion.so, a powerful and free productivity app, to create a personalized digital book log. Participants should bring a laptop. This small-group session is ideal for beginners and book lovers who want a fun, organized way to track their reading. Once you learn Notion, you can use it to plan meals, track wellness, manage finances as well as bigger project management tasks.

Notion works best on a laptop or desktop computer. Intermediate computer skills are required to fully benefit from this program; basic computer instruction will not be provided. Our circulation desk has laptops to check out to East Greenbush cardholders. This class is taught by Julie Ann Price.

During the session, participants will:

  • Explore Notion’s core features, including pages, databases, templates, and tags
  • Learn how to add books, ratings, notes, and reading goals using a book-log layout
  • Customize views, layouts, and filters to organize books by genre, author, or reading status
  • Discover how to share and sync Notion pages across devices

Pre-class requirement: Participants should create a free Notion account at notion.com and log in on their laptop prior to attending.

Please register.
