Description

Environmental economists at the University of Connecticut are conducting a nationally-relevant study on how water quality affects people's quality of life. Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut will be three focus states. We need 8-12 volunteers for informal discussions of how water quality in rivers and streams affects residents. Inputs from participants of the feedback session will be used to develop survey questionnaires used for residents' valuation of water quality improvements in water bodies in and around their county/state/region. This UConn faculty-led study is funded by U.S. EPA and will potentially influence national programs affecting water quality in many states including in Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut.
