Description

Welcome to the 6th Annual Day Before the Awards Film Festival, hosted by local Film Critic, Jim Dixon (East Greenbush Community Library location only). We have a fantastic line-up this year! 4 films total – 3 at the East Greenbush Community Library and 1 at the Rensselaer Public Library.

Registration is required for each film and can be completed online, in-person or by calling the East Greenbush Community Library Circulation Desk at 518-477-7476. 

Film Synopsis of "Judy" (Rated PG-13)

Nominated for 2 Awards including Best Actress

Thirty years after starring in "The Wizard of Oz," beloved actress and singer Judy Garland arrives in London to perform sold-out shows, reminisce with friends and fans, and begin a whirlwind romance with musician Mickey Deans, her soon-to-be fifth husband.

Tickets for all movies shown at the East Greenbush Community Library will be picked-up on the day of the event ONLY.

Schedule:

9:30am: Early bird check-in (East Greenbush Community Community Library ONLY)

10:00am: Doors open for "Judy"

10:25am: Movie introduction

10:30am: Showing begins

12:25pm: Q&A Session begins
