CRICUT DESIGN SPACE WORKSHOP

Description

CRICUT COMMUNITY CRAFTERS is a group of local paper crafters who use Cricut cutting machines and other paper crafting tools to create photo albums, scrapbook pages, cards, home decor, multi-media art, and other projects. The newer machines are run via a web-based platform called Design Studio. This group was formed to learn the basics (and beyond) of this design platform and our machines in a workshop format that will allow us to learn through creating projects.

Participants will bring their own laptop computers or iPads, Cricut machines, and crafting supplies (paper, scissors/cutters, glue, etc).

This workshop will utilize the following models of Cricut machine: Explore, Explore Air, Air-2, and Cricut Maker.
Participants will also be established with a user account in the Cricut Design Space online designing platform. The workshop can help a new user get started once he/she enrolls.

This is not an exclusive or private group. Other members of the Library community are welcome to join, as long as they let us know they are coming so that we can set up the appropriate amount of work stations.
