Program Description

Description

Sashiko is a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique that translates to “little stabs”. It is used to reinforce and mend worn clothing and textiles using simple running stitches. Please bring an article of clothing, or a piece of fabric you would like to stitch on. All other materials will be provided. Sarah Collen of the Troy Sew Shop will lead this workshop. Sarah believes that mending becomes easier over time and can make a big impact on your life and on the planet.
