Program Description
Description
Artist and author Michael Albert will offer a pop art workshop at the library. Beginning with an artist presentation, the event continues with a hands-on collage workshop and ends with a free poster giveaway and signing for all!
Michael Albert is nationally known for making art from cereal boxes and other printed cardboard consumer brand packages. Albert is the author of “An Artist's America” (Henry Holt, 2008), a picture book retrospective of his art collection.
Registration is required and begins on Monday, July 22nd at 9am.
Please note: Parent/guardian assistance is highly recommended for younger participants. Registration will ask for name of parent/guardian for this purpose.
