Program Description
Description
This hands-on workshop introduces adults to the fundamentals of hand sewing for mending everyday clothing and household items. Participants will learn simple, practical techniques to extend the life of garments, save money, and reduce waste.
Sarah Collen of the Troy Sew Shop will lead this workshop. You are encourage to bring in an item that needs a simple repair; a button, a patch, a hem. Sarah believes that mending becomes easier over time and can make a big impact on your life and on the planet.
