 ead to his poem “Pictures of a Sea”, where family history, dreams, myt
 hs, the present, and lifelong practice converge as a personification of th
 e Volturno River in Italy emptying into the Tyrrhenian Sea.\r\nR.A. (Ron) 
 Pavoldi is a self-trained poet writing over 50 years and credits the Napol
 itano American dialect and school of hard knocks for his voices. Places he
  has published include: The Hudson Review, North American Review, FIELD, C
 old Mountain Review, Crab Orchard Review, Hanging Loose, and Subnivean.
