Understanding Artistic Conventions in Funerary Art and Memorials from the Ancients to the Present. Presented by cemetery historian and author of “These Sacred Grounds” Kelly Grimaldi.
The presentation will focus on the correlation between architectural design and cemetery memorials through the ages. The connection between the ancients, post-modern Europe and a new America is explained using easily understood visual comparisons of memorials designed by the living to memorialize the dead.
