The library, in conjunction with the NEW AARP Smart Driver program, presents this 6-hour classroom course. Many insurance companies give discounts to graduates of this class.

A variety of early literacy-based programming for preschool aged children. Each week will have a different theme.

Play is important work! It requires concentration, problem-solving, cooperation, and creativity. This event features self-guided stations as well as a variety of toys available for free play.

With a specific target audience of 4 and 5-year-olds, this program features longer stories, songs and a craft to promote kindergarten readiness.

Tutoring session: Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County

Do you have toddler or preschool aged children? Are you looking for a great place for your child to learn and play? 

Get your team together and play some movie trivia with us! Hosted by Jackson Murphy, you can compete to win prizes and glory at our annual Movie and TV Trivia event.

Social Workers from Eddy Alzheimer's Services will be available to speak with caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Join us on Wednesday afternoons for anime and snacks! No registration required.

Sign Up Needed for Class  - $5 fee for Non-members of Garden Club.
Club will supply oasis (foam blocks), flowers and greenery.
Garden Club members’ arrangements will be donated to local nursing home.

All storytellers are welcome to join the Society for Creative Anachronism during this time for practice in storytelling and Bardic performance. Participants are eligible to engage in quarterly Bardic Competitions also held at this library.
