Description

We are a group of Japanese families who live in the Capital Region and gather in the Albany area each weekend. Albany Japanese Language School is a non-profit organization founded 13 years ago to help Japanese families living in the area to continue Japanese language learning while abroad and currently operates online only, due to the social restrictions placed on children by the pandemic. Now that those restrictions are lifted, we are looking for a safe, quiet place to meet as we provide Japanese-style education to the area’s Japanese children from 4 to 14 years old and the benefits of learning in-person are much greater than online.

Our teachers are dedicated parent volunteers. We are trying to find a space to hold in-person classes for these children once a month during school year. The number of child/parent attendees would vary, but we expect this group to be somewhere between 10 and 20 individuals.
